Special Wednesday Event

The Regional Representatives will be hosting the Wednesday night Social Event.

This will be a very laid back event for connecting with our members.

The time is 7:00-9:00.

We will have a local musician playing, Phil Griffin, light hors d'oeuvres and pay as you go cash bar.

There will be a boot contest that is being offered in support with our talent committee.
Get your boots ready for some I-ACTION.

So wear your boots to the social, the best cowboy,  the most bling boots, used boots of any kind(not just cowboy boots), best overall boot.

We would like to see how many boots per region attend.

So come wear you boots and meet your Regional Representative.

The 2014 I-ACT Convention will be held at the beautiful Millenium Biltmore in Los Angeles, CA!!! 

During the convention, we will have a Celebration of Connie Allred's Life.  She has done so much for our profession and our Association that we want to honor her with this celebration.

Make your plans to attend this great convention and help us honor our Founder, Connie Allred.  Dates are: June 19-21, 2014. 

Please share the Trailer #3 with your friends, family, and clients.  Let's sell out the Hotel and fill up our convention space.

 Re: Cookbook

Greetings I-ACT Members,

Our upcoming convention is a major milestone for I-ACT members as we celebrate 25 years in the industry. In order to set the tone for the next 25 years, we are striving to complete our first Cookbook. This would be something we can be proud of because it’s written by colon therapists. The request most of us hear from our clients is “I really want to eat healthy and can you help me?” This book is a perfect answer for those clients who want to make a lifestyle change starting with nutrition.

International Association for Colon Therapist has grown its membership with some of the most talented, foremost thinkers and leaders in the industry. With that being said. I am asking your help to complete this task. The goal is to have it completed by the convention date which is June 19^th, 2014.  Below is a list of needs to complete our book on time.

·       Ideas or suggestions on the title.

·       Artists that can help with drawing illustrations for the front and back cover

·       Name of the recipe and what category it falls under (ie vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free,  Soy free, raw food, Juicing section, deserts, etc)

·       Name of the person contributing the recipe

·       Name of the person who originated the recipe (if different from the submitter)

·       The history of the recipe (Where did it come from and why is it special?)

·       Ingredients and quantities needed, in the order in which they appear in the directions

·       Cooking directions

·       Prep time and cooking time

·       The number of people the recipe serves

·       Any special cooking tips or advice

·       Positive affirmations

·       Someone to proof read the final copy

As a group we will gain immensely from this collaboration. We also know that we will be able to make a real contribution to the industry of therapists who have a passion for their work. The best way to get your recipes & pictures to I-ACT is to go to the I-ACT website and click onto the members section. Type in the password and click onto the 2^nd link which is the I-ACT blog. This will get you in so you can drop your recipes and pictures making it easy for us to cut and paste into our book template. I look forward to working with you in the near future.
